Bruket Head south from Oslo on E6 towards Sweden, cross the Glomma twice, then head back north about twenty minutes, and you'll be close but probably lost. This is the perfect getaway recording studio. Bruket accommodates eight, with running water, shower, toilet, and cleaning- and catering services. The studio is based around an Amek Big console and a Lyrec 2" 24 track recorder (larger setups are supplemented with additional equipment from the main studios on an "as needed" basis-ie ProTools etc...). There is a fairly spacious control room with double doors opening out to the quiet calm of the surrounding forest and fields. An equally spacious recording room with skylights in the ceiling has a beautiful upright piano. The setting of this farm studio is a perched on a hillside overlooking the a majestic section of the river, Glomma. The studio is most comfortable during the warmer months of the year, which allows swimming, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, lazy days in the hammock and evenings around the barbeque.
